Cathrine Summers returns to The Ellington 8.00pm tonight

This April, kick back to Cathrine Summers a vocalist widely regarded as one of Perth¹s most engaging performers; she has a well-earned reputation for her zest, passion and natural presence on stage. With her husky, soulful voice and magnetic charisma, Cathrine performs with a deeply personal approach to her singing, reminiscent of the icons she so admires. She is in high demand having performed at many iconic Perth venues including Jazz Fremantle, Kings Park Festivals, Subi Concert Series, Malt Supperclub, Burswood Entertainment Complex and many other bars and restaurants across WA.

Currently based in Sydney, Cathrine is back in Perth for a short stint in April during which she has been invited back to play at The Ellington Jazz Club once again. She brings a couple of her top notch band members from Sydney with her - Glenn Doig on Piano and Brendan Clark on Bass AND, she has enlisted Perthbased Chris Tarr on Drums to round off this talented group.

Cathrine will take you back to the golden jazz era with to-tapping favourites from greats such as Dinah Washington, Ella Fitzgerald and Anita O'Day. You'll be in for a evening full of warmth and intimacy and leave with a smile on your face.
