James Flynn and the Fly Little Big Band tonight 8.00pm at The Ellington

After three months performing overseas in Singapore, Malaysia, Spain, Germany & Scotland" Flynn returns for two nights featuring Sinatra, Dean Martin & Bobby Darins music at the finger-snapping peak of their night club alchemy. Performing such hits as ‘Mack the Knife’, ‘Beyond the sea’, ’Hello young lovers’, ‘Fly me to the moon’, ‘Aint that a kick in the head’ and many more…

Vocalist James Flynn performed to sellout audiences in Perth as Sinatra in 'Singin Sinatra' with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and has toured nationally & internationally, shows celebrating Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Chet Baker & Nat King Cole.

Flynn engages his audience - he has the talent to communicate. His concert performances in front of capacity audiences feel like a casual presentation in a friend's lounge room. This ability to make everyone feel "at home" is a rare skill in the jazz environment. In short he is an entertainer.

James Flynn brings to his vocal performance a level of professionalism and polish that is of international calibre. Supported by an excellent 7 piece ensemble of the best of Perth's jazz musicians: Graham Wood - Piano, Pete Jeavons - Bass, Ben Falle - Drums, Ricky Mallet - Trumpet, Bruce Thompson - Trombone, Paul Millard - Alto and Carl Mackey - Tenor.

Tickets $15 at the door
