Horizon Art Orchestra Feat. Carrie Pereira and Luke Dewing 11.30pm tonight at The Ellington

The Ellington's Late Night Groove Series is featuring, for the first time, a live, powerhouse big band. On this special occasion the popular vocal sounds of Carrie Pereira and Luke Dewing will be accompanied by the tightest horn lines and grooving rhythm section of the Horizon Art Orchestra, featuring explosive arrangements of r&b, soul, funk and motown classics.

HAO is the newest big band out of Perth, recently capping off a frenetic first year of performing and recording original music. Formed by composers Elliott Hughes and Daniel Connor, this edgy young ensemble is comprised of fifteen exceptional and impassioned instrumentalists and virtuosic musicians. Joined by two of Perth's most revered r&b voices, Carrie Pereira and Luke Dewing, this ensemble will be delivering a night of irrefusable beats, ear-busting horns and vein-melting solos, don't miss out.
