THURSDAY 8.00pm Jack Carty and The Falls (Sydney)

Jack Carty tells it how it is. At just 25 years of age he has released two critically acclaimed albums and one E.P. Made “Album of the Year” lists for with both 2011’s “One Thousand Origami Birds” and 2012’s “Break Your Own Heart”. Toured with the likes of Josh Pyke, Matt Corby and Joshua Radin both nationally and on foreign shores, taking in festivals from Woodford to Canadian Music Week along the way. Won the MusicOZ Award for singer-songwriter of the year and had songs used in TV shows from Covert Affairs to Packed To The Rafters. A little honesty goes a long way. The Falls - They met. They fell in love. They wrote songs. They fought. They made up. They broke up. They wrote songs. At a time when for most it would be the end of a relationship, for Sydney band The Falls this feels like just the beginning… Almost subconsciously The Falls have documented their whole relationship in their songs. The love, the betrayal, the heartbreak. While at times it is hard for them to wear their hearts so openly on their sleeve, for The Falls, it has been a huge part of their songwriting. Click here for tickets
