Rhiannan Longley Quintet 8.00pm tonight at The Ellington

Rhiannan Longley is one of Perth’s up & coming jazz vocal talents. Known for her unique, pure sound, she has recently graduated from the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Jazz Performance.

Rhiannan draws inspiration from jazz greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen McRae, Billie Holiday and Astrud Gilberto as well as modern artists Gretchen Parlato and Esperanza Spalding. She will be performing a selection of her own originals and jazz standards alongside some of the most promising young musicians Perth has to offer with Bronton Ainsworth on drums, Ben Matthews on piano, Patrick Van der Moezel on tenor saxophone and Rohan Nelson on bass.
