Freddie Grigson is one of Australia’s most versatile and in demand guitar players. His guitar virtuosity has earned him a reputation as a melodic improviser of the first order, one whose own voice always rings true no matter what genre he is playing in. Fred has recorded and played with a host of major artists including Sammy Davis Jnr, Joe Pass, Herb Ellis, Billy Cobham, Mike Stern, Shirley Bassey, Jim McNeely, Gretchen Parlato ,Dale Barlow and Bob Sheppard to name a few.
Leading his own band, Freddie is launching his latest CD “ PAST AND PRESENT ”. His band comprises of Tal Cohen on piano, Karl Florisson on bass and Jacob Evans on the drums. The night will feature all the music from the album plus some new compositions.
